Let's talk!

Hi blog friends (including the silent ones...lol),

Hope you have had a restful day. I am going to have a snooze after this and then do some work (send and reply emails, study some work related journals, write/dream up the next chapter of my new story, grill some fish and probably make some spicy jollof rice...that's a lot, isn't it?) but oh well, they say it's natural for a lady to multitask!

Thanks for following the story so far. It's been time consuming writing it but at the same time I've had so much fun and the feedback from you have been so encouraging and useful.

But what do you guys think of Hasan's death in the plane crash? Has anyone ever lost any family member/friend in the past and wondered why they died? Or have you wondered if the death could have been avoided? Were you angry with God about it?
In Hasan's case, who was to blame? Someone has already blamed me (pretty lady Goodness of the 'Fathersruby blog' fame actually did) but I don't think that's fair (sob!). But seriously,  who do you think is to blame? Or do you think it was God's will for Hasan to die?

I understand some people have experienced problems leaving comments, maybe you can try leaving one using the anonymous icon but leave your name at the end of it and don't forget to click the 'I'm not a robot icon'.

Take care of you and God bless.

Sincerely,
Osar.

Well better hassan died than Akeem. I think everyone as at one point time of their life lost a loved one. Its usually not easy getting back on your feet, but I believe with God's grace, comfort and love from others we can move on. This story is real not like the Ted Dekker's mystery I read(oh he's good, don't get me wrong) but sometimes it's good to read real life issues that affect us on a day to day basis and how we can overcome and reign in the victory Christ gave us.
I can't wait for more. I have refreshed this page over and over just to make sure i was up to date on the story.
This book is a wonderful refreshing read.
So what gave you the inspiration to write this story ma? Have you experienced something similar or writing the experiences of a friend? How do you get inspiration? Happy mother's day ma. God continue to inspire you.

Hmmmmmm mm!!! I think whatever happened God knows best. He almost didn't want to go with flight maybe God was the one talking to him then, but he changed his mind. I just think what will be will be. My Bible says except the Lord watches the city those who watch watch in vain. I don't question God I just let him lead, and I also know some things or occurrence can be be prevented. Emma

Osar, well yes I blamed you because afterall, u're the writer and u could've decided to keep Hasan alive. Lol. But on a serious note, this is just life. My dad passed on on a Sunday, May last year. It was a horrifying experience and it was sudden, no time to pray, lay hands or ask for mercy. He just slumped and died. Yet, do u know what my solace was? He died in the Lord- vibrant, active, he even died in the field of service to God. Honestly, as painful as his death was and still is, there's nothing as comforting as knowing where he is. Infact, I asked the Lord to comfort me and He gave me 2 Timothy 4:7,8. That was all the comfort I needed. To be honest, I'm not sure I would know how to comfort some1 who lost an unbelieving loved one. But I know what to say to some1 who lost a loved one in the Lord. So, Osar, thanks for allowing it to be Hasan, not Akeem. And this story is so real! Well done. Now, may we have the next Chapter of the story? Or is the story over? Happy mother's day, Osar. I'm certain u're a great mum.

Even though, its sad to read about Hassan's death but I like the fact that it depicts real life occurences. A lot of Christians have died in plane crashes even though we might not really understand why but it is not in our place to blame anyone. God's ways are beyond comprehension. However, if God allows a true Christian to die in a crash then, there is a reason for that which we might or might not understand. God still has the final say. But I also know that some Christians too have been miraculously saved from plane crashes..... God is indeed awesome.

Well done ma.God will give you more inspiration to write more.

Loosing a loved one is not an easy thing to deal with especially when you could have done something to save the person's life.

I lost my dad three years ago.I was at work when the complication started but was communicating with my siblings and they assured me that he was getting better .By the time i got home,i could not stand his condition and had to rush him to the hospital, but he died on the way.I still blame myself for not going home immediately i received the call

The lesson i have learnt is that any opportunity you have to affect life,do not procrastinate.

@ Vicky Olatunji- It's great to finally have you on this forum! So how did you overcome the challenge of leaving a comment? Please kindly SHARE it here to make it easy for people that are experiencing such an issue. Thanks.

So you think it's better Hasan than Akeem? (Ouch!). I am not sure how Fayona will respond to that! But maybe it's better him in the sense that he is saved (only just recently) and like Fayona said, we know where he is.

I know you are one analytical lady so feeling quite chuffed that you like the story. There are three more chapters to go, a nice easy one next and a heart thumping one afterwards (fair warning!) and then the final chapter and we shall draw the curtains on Akeem and Yemi but you'll still see glimpses of them in Fola, Jayden, and Fayona's story.

Thanks for your Mother's Day wishes, God bless you and happy Mother's Day to you too.

Stay blessed,
Osar.

Gods'ways, who can fathom?.... we lost a close family friend just last week, wonderfully godfearing doesn't describe him, he was an angel over & over. he was involved in a ghastly motor accident and his body mangled so much that our farewells have to be done without seeing him one last time....child of God or child of 'devil' the loss of a loved one is too painful but that's the reality of life, good or bad we'll all go someday albeit the good ones go first. your story is so real and that's the reason I follow, I love realities and this one is captivating.keep the good work ma
